HELI HEROES aggiorna la vecchia scuola di giochi arcade "shoot em up" a nuove dimensioni sui PC di oggi. Sei al comando di un AH-64 Apache Longbow o un Hokum elicottero russo. L'obiettivo è quello di volare attraverso i vari livelli e realizzare gli obiettivi della missione. Durante le missioni si trovano diversi tipi di armi e di sistemi offensivi e difensivi supplementari. L'aspetto del gioco e sentire è costituito da un paesaggio in 3D che si vola l'elicottero sopra, attraverso e dentro. Il mix di realtà e missioni Sci-Fi variare di distruggere i campi petroliferi iracheni a combattere contro i nemici "Big Boss" in Alaska.
