NIGHTSIDE è un classico gioco RTS che dispone di tre gare ciascuno con il proprio stile di gioco. Il gioco è ambientato sul lato oscuro di un pianeta sconosciuto dove la preziosa risorsa "verde ghiaccio" si possono trovare. Seguire Adam, un esploratore umano, come scopre i segreti di questo mondo oscuro attraverso una campagna single player story-driven, battaglia online per ottenere i gradi più alti sulla scaletta o prassi in multiplayer contro intelligenti, adattivi avversari AI.
