This was my first Tales game so I don't have a history with the franchise. As a stand alone game it is a solid JRPG, the story is good, the voice acting is OK, there are plenty of side quests and like most jrpg's there's fishing. The graphics are pretty good spell graphics are flashy overall its pretty fun.
