运营美国铁路公司（Amtrak）在东北走廊的旗舰服务——Acela特快列车。自2000年开通以来，Acela特快列车为美国东海岸主要州之间提供最快捷、最直接的交通连接。Acela特快列车直接与航空旅行竞争，提供商务舱和头等舱服务，并能轻松应对线路挑战，在部分路段最高时速可达150英里/小时。

Acela列车本身就是一项工程奇迹。其设计最初于20世纪90年代末期成型，很大程度上借鉴了著名的TGV高速列车，但根据美国的需求进行了调整。中间车厢配备了主动倾斜技术，减轻了列车在急转弯时对乘客的压力，从而实现了更高的运行速度。总共建造了20列Acela列车，专门用于东北走廊线路，每天运送数千名乘客。
