The game is very good, it is entertaining, frustrating if you are going to explore (which I recommend you do), the enemies are quite original in addition to the skills and mechanics of the game, I recommend it especially to those fans of Alan Wake

An incredible game, the gameplay, the variety of scenarios, and the plot, although complex and with many details that are woven and joined together as you advance in the secrets of the ancient house. A necessary acquisition for any fan of the Alan Wake universe.

The game is great, but contrary to what the page here says this is not the ultimate edition since the dlc is not included, even though it shows ultimate edition in steam as well, this appearantly is a humble bundle key which had a naming issue that said utlimate instead of standard.. shame i only found out after finishing the main story.

Control's story is, yes, pretentious, and requires a certain level of attention from the player. No wonder, collectible items are scattered like fact sheets, and projections, audios on tape, radio programs (I already miss the Owl of America) and television programs that cannot be described with any other word but bizarre, which serve as complement to the main narrative. "This game is weird" will be a constant thought in your game, but not to the point where you want to drop it, but to go all the way and find out if all the nonsense makes sense. And it does, check it out. The distinction between the real and the imaginary ends up taking a back seat to intuitive gameplay and a jaw-dropping visual.
