As far as the tactical possibilities are concerned, it surpasses x-com by far, especially as far as character development is concerned. The equipment complements the characters well without making them new. The specs actually allow for very different squad members even at the same class, which provides a nice variety. In terms of menu clarity, the game can definitely be expanded. In general, the trappings outside of the missions also seem a little loveless, which is a shame. The main part is the fights, but with a little more effort you could have brought in more immersion, so it currently reads more like a Word spreadsheet. Conclusion: Very good tactical game that lacks a bit of fine-tuning here and there. The combat and the graphics are what matters and they are great. Definitely a purchase recommendation and one of the top 10 RTX games currently.
