My absolute favorite game, unfortunately it doesn't get any further updates, but it's still more than worth the money. The game has a great story, sandbox elements and the fact that you can access new planets. I can recommend it to everyone.

One of my favourite games, sadly it doesnt get any more updates, but with the amount of free expansive mods from steam workshop, its more than worth the money, but vanilla game has a story, sandbox elements, and the fact you can go to planets and use mechs in SPACE. so yeah I recommend

The game is absolutely amazing the first time through. The world, music, mechanics, combat, and story are engaging and fun. I found myself losing track of time quite often while playing. However, the game suffers a complete lack of replayability. The game hinges on it's wast and unique ecosystems, locations, quests, stories and lore. However, after the first playthrough, the game doesn't have much more to offer. Everything I mentioned before becomes boring, and before long, you will find yourself at a lack of things to do. And this is further impacted by the shared universe feature. As you go through the story, permanent changes will occur to your hubworld and npc's will appear. At first, this adds atmosphere to the game, and new vendors and dialouge. But, if you play through again, even at the start, the same people will be there, acting as if nothing changed. The peacekeeper expansion was a breath of fresh air, but it suffers from the same issues after a while. The game suffers from plenty of issues, but I will never forget the those feelings of wonder and awe as I explored new planets and learned about an amazingly crafted universe. There's not much I wouldn't give to feel it again.
