With over 13 years of experience in HR, Partycja Adamczyk brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as the Head of People at Kinguin. She has worked in reputable companies such as British American Tobacco (BAT), Rosti Group or Bracia Sadownicy. Partycja joined Kinguin in January 2023, driven by her strategic and organizational skills, which she demonstrated from a young age. Her experience includes leading regional roles within the internal communication area, managing compensation & benefits, driving and implementing soft HR global projects and setting up processes to optimize substantial human resources structures.

Strategy of the People Team:

Since Partycja's arrival, the People Team at Kinguin has made significant progress in terms of strategy and approach. The key areas of focus include creating and implementing HR strategy, consistent with Kinguin's Blueprint, building a strong and motivated People Team. That allows individual development based on talents and strengths, mapping and streamlining processes, and emphasizing automation and digitization. These efforts align with the "Career Accelerant", pillar of Kinguin's Blueprint, driving all activities in the HR department.

Interpreting and implementing company values:

Partycja emphasizes that the core values of Care, Passion, and Impact are firmly embedded in the People department at Kinguin. The team focuses on effective communication and knowledge sharing, fostering an environment where employees (Kinguiners) feel valued and supported. By prioritizing open dialogue, the team promotes well-being and ensures seamless implementation of changes. Taking a proactive stance, the team goes above and beyond to address business challenges while placing people at the forefront. No Kinguiner problem, whether work-related or personal, is ever ignored, reflecting the team's genuine care and commitment.

Moreover, the People department actively focuses on streamlining processes through automation, enhancing efficiency, and driving organizational development. By living out the values, the People department creates a culture where Kinguiners thrive, impact is maximized, and passion fuels success.

By implementing a Code of Conduct, an anti-harassment procedure, and a competence model deeply embedded with these values, the People Team ensures that the entire organization operates ethically and cohesively. One of the examples of People’s team commitment to Kinguiners is Mental Health Support Platform implementation, where they provide 8 individual sessions with psychologists or business coaches as per employee needs. Another activity area are training sessions, such as Emotional Intelligence, Change Management or Effective Presentations & Public Speaking. 

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:

Kinguin is dedicated to fostering a Safe, Inclusive & Diverse workplace culture. The company's Board fully supports this endeavor, and Partycja's team takes several steps to promote inclusivity and security. Firstly, they identify areas where unequal treatment may occur based on age, gender, ethnicity, or nationality. Secondly, a "Whistle Blower" tool is being implemented to provide a safe reporting mechanism for Kinguiners to address unacceptable practices. Training sessions will be provided to both current and new Kinguiners, ensuring that everyone feels valued, respected, and included.
