Starfire is a game that blends bullet hell combat with building and progression. Players take on the role of Starfire members scavenging for supplies in a nuclear blast zone. During a critical mission, they are pursued by AI-sent drones. Players must collect resources and engage in combat to enhance their drones' combat capabilities while escaping. This includes researching drone designs, machine guns, cannons, and missile launchers, as well as constructing internal building, research, and production facilities. Players also need to choose suitable sites to dock and collect minerals. When pursuers arrive, players must defeat them to buy time to escape. Combat is controlled with a mouse and keyboard. The keyboard controls drone movement, and the mouse controls aiming.
