Tense combat, with a unique system revolving around health and adrenaline stats that support each other. If you run out of health, you can miraculously survive off of any remaining adrenaline. If you run out of adrenaline, attacking instead drains your health (representing stress).
Core gameplay mechanic: you must return to your cell before the end of each night, adding more tension to every journey you take into the darkness.
