a sweet and lovingly queer game about a sister with newly awakened witch powers and group of students discovering the mysteries of a magic academy while trying to find a missing person. the game is charming and it's clearly inspired by classic jrpgs both in story and gameplay (a blend of turn-based and grid-based) but with an extravagant dose of diverse lgbt+ and poc characters. sadly the gameplay does drag quite a bit and can feel very drawn out if you battle too much. def lower the difficulty or use the "kill all enemies" button/mode (yes that's a thing) for grinding and just spend time on the boss and trial battles which offers the more interesting pieces for the gameplay. Other than that the dungeons are quite traditional in puzzles and discovery and the school is very fun to explore and find secrets or sidequests in!
