This work is a suspense puzzle game and the second installment in the "Mysterious Case" series. This time, we will continue to follow Detective Chen as he heads to an unknown, mysterious prison to search for evidence and uncover the truth behind the cold case.

Case Summary

On April 20, 2001, two inmate deaths occurred within three days in a mysterious prison in City M. The forensic team arrived at the scene promptly and, after a preliminary investigation, determined that one person died from excessive blood loss due to a sharp object piercing the left lung, with a time of death within 8 hours. The other deceased had obvious strangulation marks on the neck with no other visible injuries, initially judged to have died from mechanical asphyxia, with a time of death around 10 to 12 hours. Following an emergency search by the prison staff, a blood-stained knife was found in the cell of inmate number 16207, making him a prime suspect. He was then isolated in solitary confinement awaiting police investigation and interrogation.

The player, as Detective Chen, receives an urgent order from superiors to head to this mysterious prison to investigate this heinous serial murder case.
