In the 1990s, a young Chinese individual established a website called Abnormal1999 in the United States, which collected a large amount of abnormal cases and events. Meanwhile, in China, a police officer named "Liu Qingchun" also founded the 403 Intelligence Division, which similarly gathered abnormal intelligence. Over the course of more than a decade, these two organizations gradually grew in size and began to oppose each other, employing numerous intelligence personnel to gather information and leads.
This game is the first installment of this series, with plans to release 2 episodes each month, totaling 6 episodes for a season. Each episode is both independent and interconnected. In this installment, a highly bizarre case is featured:
Season 1, Episode 1《With in the Obscurity》
the police discovered 7 bodies in a desolate forest, each belonging to a member of a local spiritual group participating in a "spiritual practice." According to forensic analysis, all 7 individuals had no external injuries or signs of poisoning. At the time, there were a total of 8 participants in the spiritual practice, with one person missing. Interestingly, all the relatives of the deceased chose not to pursue the killer, leaving the case unsolved.
Players take on the role of one of the 8 individuals involved, gradually uncovering the truth of the events as an eyewitness to the "spiritual practice" incident.
Players must solve various puzzles and deduce the truth based on the "clues" obtained in the game.
