X-Mutation is a classical top-down rogue-lite 3D action game. Play as a biological experiment subject who can mutate his body into deadly weapons to survive against thousands of monsters from the Otherworld. This isn't your average mindless slaughter game—X-Mutation challenges even the most skilled players with its demanding gameplay. While the game starts off as highly challenging, mastery of control skills and intelligent tactical builds will ease your path to victory.  

Loot the mutations of up to 4 weapons and 5 passive abilities from over 100 mutations. Upgrade them in various ways to craft your unique build. Strategic thinking and a smart approach to combat are key, as every decision impacts your survival. After each run, you will gain talent points based on your score, which can be used to upgrade certain abilities on a randomly generated talent map, further enhancing the depth of strategic gameplay.
  
We’ve included advanced combat systems like dungeon crawler games into a top-down rogue-lite action game with as many as 30+ different attributes along with various Buffs & DoTs which interact with each other. Five types of damage are included: Physical, Fire, Frost, Lightning, and Water, all having their unique features and ability of reacting with each other. This system will give players infinite possibilities to create unique builds only limited by their own imaginations!

• Choose from 100+ mutations, which can further upgrade into more powerful mutations in the battle. Experience enhanced control in X-Mutation with dual firing modes: choose to manually unleash your mutated weapons for strategic gameplay, or opt for convenience with up to two weapons on auto-fire. Customize your combat style with four weapon slots to suit your approach, blending manual precision and automated power to dominate the battlefield.
• Elemental reactions. Attacking a monster with Water damage, will apply a "Wet" DoT to make it move slower, further attacks with Frost damage will immediately freeze enemies into ice. Instead, if players attack with Lightning damage, it will create a lightning chain reaction between "Wet" enemies.
• Leveling up in a match will allow players to choose from 3 randomly generated upgrades:
  • Roll the rank of a randomly selected mutation. (Rank will further affect the mechanic)
  • Upgrade one of the attributes of a randomly selected mutation.
  • Roll the enchantments of a randomly selected mutation.
• A randomly generated 3d map, random monsters, random bosses and random events to ensure each run is totally different.
• 50+ unique monsters with 12 powerful bosses.
• Upgrade your abilities with a randomly generated talent map.
• Unlock new mutations by completing certain achievements.
