Some announcements are important.
Some are exciting.
And then there is this one.
Kowalski is a full Kinguin ambassador.
He doesn’t stream (yet). He doesn’t tweet (for now).
But:
🐟 he loves fish (like every penguin with self-respect)
🌊 he spends time with other penguins - because penguins are super social
🖤🤍 he looks great in his tuxedo 24/7
😎 he stays cool in every situation
This adoption is not just symbolic. Kinguin supports Kowalski’s care and daily needs at the Warsaw Zoo. He is under the professional care of experienced keepers and together we make sure he has proper food (yes, lots of fish 🐟), a safe and comfortable place to live, and good conditions every single day.

Kowalski is an African penguin (Spheniscus demersus).
Yes, really.
African penguins live near the coast of South Africa and Namibia.
Not all penguins live in ice and snow.
African penguins make sounds that are similar to a donkey.
That’s why people sometimes call them “jackass penguins”.
They use sound to talk, find each other, and stay together.
The black dots on a penguin’s belly are different for each one.
It’s like a fingerprint. Kowalski has his own unique pattern.
They eat mostly fish, like sardines and anchovies.
For penguins, fish time = best time.
In water, penguins are fast and smooth swimmers.
On land… they walk funny. And that’s part of the charm.
African penguins are very social animals.
They live in groups, recognize each other, and stay close.
We feel that.
What does our ambassador do all day?
Simple life. Good life.
Kinguin is more than games and digital products. We believe in community, responsibility and doing good things beyond the screen.
By adopting Kowalski, we support animal care and help protect an endangered species - in a way that feels true to who we are.
It’s official now.
Kowalski the African penguin is the new Kinguin ambassador.
Welcome to the family 💙
We've got our finger on the pulse
