Some simple gratuitous violence. Somewhat easy to learn controls (all those different combos are insane though), and there's a nice range of difficulty options. Even as someone who almost always plays on keyboard and mouse, I'd definitely recommend a controller unless you want carpal tunnel after a few matches. The XL edition is cheap and gives you pretty much everything (i.e. all the characters and most cosmetics). Ran great on my Steam Deck with great battery life. My only complaint is that you have to choose cosmetics for fighters when setting up a match, it'd be nice to be able to equip them in an inventory menu or something. Other than that it's good fun.
