Like the others have said the activation method seems sketchy, but it does work. You link your runescape account to the fresh steam account that is made, and the steam account has a pre-paid 12 month membership on it. As soon as you login to your runescape account it adds the membership. You can immediately unlink your runescape account afterwards. The reason I removed a star was for how long this took and the fact that once you make the purchase, you are directed to another site to obtain your Steam account information. The Kinguin purchase was fast and received my "code" immediately, however, I was then directed to another site to redeem the "code". I entered the code and it took 24 hours for me to receive the Steam account, only after I also had to use Discord to submit a help ticket. After submitting the ticket I received help rather quickly. I was given the steam account within a few minutes, but then the membership purchase was pending on the steam account. All in all it took about 36 hours of waiting to activate the membership through this method. IMO it was still worth it to save about $50 on a year membership, but still a bit of a hassle. I was completely out of membership at the time, but Luckily I had a 2 week membership code so I was able to start playing right away. If you are completely out of membership just keep in mind this method may make you wait a day or 2 to activate.

(you may need to install the steam launcher) 7. this will open your browser to link your runescape character to your steam account. 8. log into the sellers steam account again on the browser. at this point your 12 month membership should already be applied to your character. 9. logout of runescape again. 10. logout of sellers steam account on both steam and your browser. 11. return to your runescape character management and unlink sellers steam account from your character. 12. re-link your own steam account to your character (if desired) like others have said, quite convoluted and sketchy but it did work, 12 months of membership on my iron for $55. lets just say its less sketchy than buying gp for bonds and (probably) wont get you banned for rwt. 4.5/5

Honestly a very easy process. You log into their provided steam account, and use that to sign into RS3. You link your RS account with their steam account and it will auto claim the package for you. Once you sign out of RS and unlink their steam account from your rs account the membership and perks remain. The membership extends to OSRS if you were wondering about that as well.
