You can choose to be friends with the 3 NPC guilds or become a mercenary and join the pirate guild. Space battles are frequent depending on the system you visit and the planets vary from hostile to paradisiacal, just like the scenery that will amaze you. I have 200 hours of play and I never get tired of it. If you like conquest, survival and space in a futuristic world while piloting different ships, then go for it! You won't regret it for a second :)
