HyperMotion 2 – will it bring gameplay to a new level?

FIFA 23 is set to be the final part of the iconic FIFA series. So this is a special premiere because the latest instalment closes a certain chapter in the history of video games. Because of this farewell to the series, fans of the game are expecting significant changes in FIFA 23, including new features and improvements in the overall quality of gameplay.

One of the key changes, which is expected to significantly improve the realism of the entire game, is HyperMotion 2 technology. Electronic Arts paid much more attention to this technology during the development of the latest FIFA 23. HyperMotion will appear in the game's next-generation part. As opposed to the previous game, this time the PC version will also be equipped with HyperMotion.

What will HyperMotion 2 bring to the game? First of all, it is expected to enable even more realistic gameplay. In FIFA 23, the number of realistic animations of female and male players has been increased to 6000! What’s more, the movement of female characters in the game will be more natural and feminine, as it has been created based on the analysis of recordings of female soccer players during a match.

Fifa 23 vs. Fifa 22 – what can we expect from the new part?

In addition to greater realism, FIFA 23 also has some new features that we haven't experienced in previous versions of the game. One of the key changes is certainly the introduction of women's teams from the Barclays FA Women's Super League and Division 1 Arkema leagues into the game. This is a major breakthrough and a complete novelty in the FIFA series.

However, the introduction of women's teams is not the only change from previous instalments of the FIFA game. An important change is the removal of the Russian national team and all Russian teams from the game. With this change, EA Sports firmly states its standing against Russia's actions and shows support for the Ukrainian nation. On the other hand, the Juventus Turin club returns to the game after a three-year absence!

Something that is sure to positively surprise FIFA fans is the fact that FIFA 23 owners will gain free access to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. More information on the update is expected to appear around the dates of the aforementioned sporting events.

Sounds and graphics – changes from FIFA 22

The latest instalment of the game in the iconic FIFA series offers its players many new features. The technical and aesthetic elements of the entire game, such as graphics and sounds, have certainly changed in comparison to the previous versions. Changes in graphics in FIFA 23 are noticeable at first glance. The movement animations of players on the field are more realistic due to the HyperMotion technology.

What’s more, the appearance of football players has changed with the introduction of improved facial expressions and updated outfits. Differences can also be seen in the audience, which has become more diverse thanks to new clothing. The audience also knows more chants. An important graphical change can also be seen on the pitch, which has been designed in a very realistic way and now has a turf that deforms during the match.
