Sumo Revise è un turbolente multiplayer progettato per harken di nuovo al zaniness e rigiocabilità di giochi strato-spiazzamento come Super Smash Bros. Anche GoldenEye 007, con una spruzzata di stupidità di giochi come QWOP e Chirurgo Simulator 2013.

Sumo Revise è progettato per essere un gioco multiplayer locale, e alcuni dei suoi migliori qualità sono persi durante il gioco online. In quanto tale, Sumo Rivedi è in questo momento non è in linea. Inoltre, giocando con 8 giocatori contemporaneamente richiede quattro gamepad, due tastiere e mouse. La tastiera supplementare è necessaria perché l'hardware della tastiera è in grado di ricevere solo pochi input alla volta.
