its a good game. It closes Altair's and Ezio's story in a nice way but there isn't anything in the game you need to know before going onto AC3, except maybe Desmond journey which goes into his background but you can read or watch the dialogue online. The gameplay is pretty much just like ACB and the story is good but not so amazing that it's a must play. If you really want to get to AC3 i'd say it's skipable but you should check it out at some point. When it first cam out, I was really burnt out on the same AC gameplay and i wasn't able to enjoy it ACR. AC3 makes a lot of changes and improvements and really refreshed my interest in the series (AC3 is my fav). Afterward i went back to ACR and i was able to really enjoy and appreciate the game unlike when it first cam out. I just wanted to share that in case it helps you with your decision. Have Fun.

A perfect ending to the ezio trilogy. Constantinopole is recreated perfectly and the story is amazing. The ending is a masterpiece.

Great game, with interesting and engaging story... Great way to close the Ezio Augitore - saga. The modern day plot is OK as well.
