The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief

Finally some adventure game action! This time it is in the form of a crime thriller that will be released in 3 episodes.

The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief comes from the creators of ‘The book of unwritten tales’, and contains a plot that is full of twists and does an amazing job in immersing you in the stories that are being told within the game.

The first being told in Paris 1960, as Europe is in the vice of master thief The Raven. A young investigator by the name of Nicolas Legrand wows the continent when he manages to both confront and fatally wound the mastermind.

The second story is set in London during the year of 1964 as an ancient ruby is stolen from the British Museum, this ruby is one of the legendary ‘Eyes of the Sphinx’. From the raven feather left at the crime scene we may have a copycat in our midst as seems someone is trying to carry on his legacy. Legrand is back to figure out the mystery. Though simultaneously in Zurich Constable Anton Jakob Zellner’s life takes a rather fatal turn.

As you can see the game has a feeling of Sherlock Holmes or Poirot to it. The last adventure game I played with this sort of sub-genre was the superb Tex Murphy games that came out between 1989 and 1998 (I highly recommend you try them out). So naturally I am looking forward to sitting down and solving some international mysteries.
