The overlord Metacritic appears!

As you may or may not have noticed scores from the behemoth that is Metacritic has started to show up beside some games in order to make purchasing games that much easier for you.

No need for having to open up a new tab and check if a game is worth trying Kinguin have you covered. The score is simply shown alongside whatever game you wish to buy or underneath the game art depending if you have clicked on the game or not.

Just in case some of you don’t have a clue what Metacritic is or does, it simply rounds up reviews from reputable sites around the internet and finds the average score. Only recently has Metacritic become such a major part of the industry, publishers now use it as a condition with many of their developers as to show if their game has been a success or not.

In my personal opinion the industry puts way too much value on Metacritic. Metacritic is a great tool for us the consumer but at the end of the day Metacritic is just a site score aggregator nothing more nothing less.

Enough of that though, all you need to know is that your Kinguin experience has just gotten a lot more convenient with the addition of embedded Metacritic scores.
