Mortal Kombat is Finally on PC!

MK9 is probably the best Mortal Kombat to date, its beautifully balanced looks great and features all of the best characters from the MK universe.

So I love Mortal Kombat let me just get that out there. Fighting games are a little pleasure of mine my brother and I have quite the rivalry. Whether it be me as Zangief and him Ken in Street Fighter or me as Scorpion and him as Sub Zero in Mortal Kombat the rivalry remains.

I have been playing Mortal Kombat since the original on the Megadrive I used to play my uncle a lot on it and to be honest I wasn’t very good, let’s just say I didn’t really know what a combo was and that hindered me a bit. Thereon though I became a fan of the series and played a lot of the instalments (sitting out some of the more bad titles in the series). Finally when MK9 was announced my brother and I were ecstatic.

We bought it on the PS3 and enjoyed it but we are PC gamers at heart and I just find it hard to enjoy games on consoles. Finally our prayers have been answered and MK9 has finally been released on the best platform in the world, PC!

Thankfully the PC version includes all of the DLC released on console (obviously without Kratos from the PS3 version). Though there is Freddy Krueger!

MK9 is probably the best Mortal Kombat to date, its beautifully balanced looks great and features all of the best characters from the MK universe. With also one of the better stories for a fighter (though I don’t know how much of that is a compliment), It all ties up into one nice package that is well worth trying out especially if you are a fighter fan like myself. Though if you are new there is no problem there is a great training mode that helped me get back into the swing of things because I think the last MK game I played was Armageddon which was around 5 or 6 years old when MK9 came out on consoles.

Be you new or old to the gruesome world of Mortal Kombat you’ll find an accessible yet deep and satisfying fighter. So…

GET OVER HERE!

(I am so sorry but I had to say it).
